The 5G variant of Mi Mix 3 will be available across Europe in Q1 2019. The 4GB RAM variant is now currently available for purchase at Rs 14,999 on Amazon and Mi.com.
The Mi Mix 3 is still a 2018 Android flagship that's going to be easy on your wallet - if you can purchase the phone in your market. To use the front cameras, you will have to pull down the front panel. The company's Mi Mix 3 is its most attractive phone to date, featuring an edge-to-edge display and no notch. The slider is a magnetic manual slider. There is also a 20MP selfie camera with the same IMX376 Sony sensor and soft LEF flash.
The Mi Mix 3 features the same edge-to-edge bezel less display like its predecessor. The chin is thinner than that of Mi Mix 2S. It has 19.5:9 screen-aspect ratio.
The full front and back section of the phone moves - not just a small top component. The device features an impressive 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio for immersive viewing. The pixel density is of 403 ppi. Xiaomi claims that the display offers a 60,000:1 contrast ratio and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone will feature the latest QualcommSnapdragon 845 paired with 10GB of RAM. The smartphone look has one of the best looks you will find in a flagship smartphone in the market right now. This will come with 256 GB of storage and will cost roughly $720. As for its memory, the device breaks conventions by offering a 10 GB of RAM option.
The price for the 6/128 GB variant is CNY3,299, the 8/128 GB is CNY3,599, while the 8/256 GB is CNY3,999. The primary shooter is a 12 MP camera which has f/1.8 aperture with 1.4 micron pixels. Xiaomi has instead compared the mechanism to the one that was featured in old sliding phones in the early 2000s. For photography, there's a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor and a secondary 12MP telephoto lens with Samsung S5K3M3+ sensor. The smartphone is capable of recording slow-mo videos at 960 frames per second. To access them, you simply slide the front half of the phone down to reveal cameras housed within the backside of it. Selfie camera is also a double, with modules for 24 + 2 MP. Its resolution is effectively reduced to 6MP in those conditions though.
Upfront, the handset features a 24MP+2MP dual camera setup for shooting selfies.
Now, with the much-awaited launch of Mi MIX 3 today, Mi fans expect that the company will take its innivation a notch higher. It packs a 3,850 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It supports 5G, wireless charging and will come with a 10W wireless charger bundled.
