How Croatia and England fans reacted after Croatia's World Cup semifinal win

This could be a very close game. A simple header from Perisic, a momentary lapse from Stones, and Mandzukic had fired Croatia into the final for a chance to avenge their 1998 exit at the hands of France. "We have shown character, we have done that today in extra time".
And although they were hardly playing tournament favourites in England, their fightback was worthy of sharing a day with Anderson's extraordinary tale. I think everyone will want to play but the gaffer will make a decision but yeah we're extremely proud of what we've achieved and we know we've restored some pride in the shirt back home as well.
An early goal was not enough to stop Croatia from eliminating England's dream of reaching the final of the World Cup for the first time since 1966.
At Luzhniki Stadium, Croatia looked finished, a spent force, heading forlornly for the weird, sullen occasion that is the World Cup's third-place play-off.
"Great credit to them". One tweet from ITV Sports shared a quote from Croatia captain Luka Modric, who said, "English journalists, pundits from television, they underestimated Croatia tonight and that was a huge mistake".
Croatia, who were beaten in extra-time by Portugal at Euro 2016, became just the second team to go to extra-time in three consecutive World Cup games.
But the 47-year-old former England worldwide also had plenty of praise for his players. Victory would see them return to the same venue to face either France or Belgium in the final.
"I said before the tournament England never overachieve, this team has overachieved getting to the semi-final and they can all be absolutely proud". For 70 minutes we battered them.
The thigh injury sustained by Alli against Tunisia in England's opening game has lingered on and affected his fitness, but even before this tournament, he had flattered to deceive on the worldwide stage.
Trippier struck the ball with his right foot and it rose above leaping Dejan Lovren and Mandzukic to the left of the desperate dive of goalkeeper Danijel Subasic, who turned his head and watched the ball land in the upper corner. "It will be an attacking game with goals as both teams can't really defend, but it is unlikely to be three shoot-outs in a row for Croatia". Jesse Lingard sent an open 18-yard shot just wide in the 35th.
On Croatia's first goal, Perisic barely beat Kyle Walker to the ball on his high kick to equalize.
England had some shaky moments defensively, with Perisic hitting the post, but held on to reach extra time. Choruses of "God Save the Queen" began in England's end.
Kane did have one last chance to seal it for England, however, when the big Tottenham man found some space and met a Trippier cross, but he headed down ineffectively.
Defender Vrsaljko was also instrumental, clearing a shot off the line in the first half of extra time as well as setting up Perisic's equaliser. We closed down (John) Stones and (Jordan) Henderson.
