"It sucks to lose", a grim-faced James said. James help set up four of Hill's five made field goals. "I'm pretty sure, the way we handled things previous year, [we'll] stay consistent with that", Curry said later. "He's a scorer. You know, he's an assassin and that was one of those assassin plays right there".
"I'm optimistic Andre will play at some point in the series", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said on Sunday.
Prior to the contest, Cavaliers head coach Tyron Lue was asked by an global reporter about who would be the key player for the Cavaliers, which he gave a simple response to that obvious question. They've got a great crowd and they really feed off of it. Curry finished with 11 points, one of the worst postseason games of his career.
Opening the game with a 16-4 run, Cleveland led wire-to-wire in the first half behind a similar formula that put the Cavaliers on the doorstep of winning Game 1 in Oaklandlast week: getting physical with Golden State.
"Maybe it's just a tradition that needs to stop if everybody is going to be disinvited", Green said. "Last two years, we were up 2-0". The Cavs climbed out of a 3-1 deficit to win the 2016 NBA Championship over the Warriors. He was 2-2 in four trips to the NBA Finals with Miami.
In this instance, James came to the defense of Curry and the Warriors. "And you should never want to relax".
"The eye has looked a lot better", James said. "So, it's tough, but it's all part of the competition, which I love and which I continue to lace them up [for] every night". "You can't have mistakes". You just knew that they wouldn't beat themselves.
But now it's just the misery of waiting for Game 4 and a chance to keep on going Friday. In order to win a championship a team has to step up and do something extraordinary. They've proven they can win on someone else's floor, no matter if it's through adversity as people may call it like when they were going through the Rockets series or whatever the case may be. For ourselves and for our fans, we've got to go out there and give everything we've got.
And believe it, James was not going to relax Wednesday night. It's incredible that they've each made it back this many times without a hiccup, and it's hard to imagine we could see a fifth-straight Finals showdown.
"We've been here before, and that's the biggest thing. But patriotism is helping your fellow citizens and whether it's what KID is doing or what we did when we visited Washington and the Lynx are doing today, that's what patriotism is about".
