The Philadelphia 76ers seem to be the young upstart darlings of the National Basketball Association. While Amir Johnson got the start in game one, it became clear within the first quarter that more offensive production was needed in the frontcourt. The 76ers have too many great shooters to have another bad performance from the 3 point line in game 3.

Simmons gashed the Heat in Game 1, allowed to do whatever he pleased on his way to 14 assists, but tonight was a different story. He talked about sitting in his hotel room the night before Game 2 and pondering how he could help his team.

So what changed in Game 2?

The over is 5-2 in the 76ers' last seven overall, 5-1 in their last six against the Eastern Conference, 10-4-1 in their last 15 following a double-digit home loss, and 5-2 in their last seven after scoring at least 100 points in their previous outing. Bet the Philadelphia 76ers -2 over the Miami Heat in game 3.

Philadelphia rallied relentlessly and it looked ominous for Miami as the Sixers closed the gap to two points at 98-96.

The win also snapped Philadelphia's 17-game win streak.

Heat G Dwayne Wade turned back the clock on Monday night, leading all scorers with 28 points.

The difference between how they defended those players in Game 1. "You got to stay in the moment and focus on what you can control".

76ers head coach Brett Brown has his work cut out for him. On the 76ers' next possession, Simmons finished a fastbreak with a dunk, and the Heat's lead was sliced to 93-87. Winslow subsequently marked Simmons closely in both the half court, and in transition. Simmons was unwilling to attempt the latter, and it left him paralyzed during the waning minutes of the game.Down the stretch the Sixers' half-court sets relied heavily on three-point shooting, running J.J. Reddick and Belinelli through screens that end ended in contested shots. "I was confident that we had control of the game, and we made some plays". He later explained that he had been drinking at the time which led to him doing "dumb stuff". He adjusted and played a fabulous game. We had no semblance of order offensively, especially that his presence.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this prior to Game 3 Thursday evening. Do one or the other, and the Heat might be able to hang with the 76ers. He spoke about considering the way he might benefit his team and sitting down in his hotel room at the night before Game two.

What can we expect in Game 3?
