Fortnite mobile: How to play Fortnite Battle Royale on your iPhone

"On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac", Epic said in its announcement.
All gameplay captured on iPhone X.
This means that whether you're on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Mac, you will all be playing the same game on the same map as everyone else.
The mobile version of "Fortnite" will feature all the same unlockable content as the other versions and will keep up with the same update schedule.
We are happy to announce that we have reached a collaboration with our Microsoft partners so that "Fortnite" has cross-play, cross-progression and cross-purchase, between the versions of Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS and Android. We expect to rollout Android in the next few months. Almost. Fortnite Battle Royale is in the position to become the flawless cross-play massively multiplayer battleground, but only if Microsoft and Sony can build bridges.
While Fortnite: Battle Royale and its competitor, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, have established the genre on PC and consoles, mobile is already a fertile space for these kinds of games.
The game has amassed millions upon millions of players, stream views, and several highly-intensive, professional competitions.
Codes for Fortnite: Battle Royale on iOS will not be going out today. Rather, you will be put into a queue where Epic Games will be making the decision.
iOS users will have access to sign up before Android users to preview the early version of the mobile game.
But to get it, you'll need a special download link supplied by Fortnite creators Epic Games.
One fan revealed to Microsoft official Phil Spencer that he extremely needed cross-stage similarity amongst PS4 and Xbox One. If you don't receive an email immediately, it's possible you still might get in to the testing session - Epic is rolling out invitations gradually.
