Saturday's winners, losers at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine

The last thing any National Football League franchise wants is to be searching for a starting quarterback.
"You got a team like that, obviously they've had some rough years, but I think they're a couple of pieces away". Just look at Cleveland, or even the Jets (sorry had to).
If they're interested in another, Troy Fumagalli could be on their radar. Logic suggests the Browns split those first two picks with a quarterback - like USC's Sam Darnold or UCLA's Josh Rosen - and a defensive player, such as Alabama's Minkah Fitzpatrick. The highest number was 37, showing just how bad that performance was. "If a team doesn't have a quarterback, they don't really have anything". He said he's open to any position on the field and credited his length, speed and play in space as reasons why he has climbed up draft boards.
Despite his considerable 233-pound frame, he led all running backs with a 41-inch vertical leap.
What did we learn about Barkley from his combine performance?
In my analysis I will list the players that improved their draft stock and those who hampered it.
"The Browns could shop for a running back later in the draft". If the Browns use the first-overall pick on a quarterback, then NY may very well take the running back with the second-overall pick. "It's just something where I have to stay humble and keep working on myself".
The Lions would have to give up a Carson Wentz-esque package to move up high enough to draft Barkley, especially after Friday's workout. The Giants seem to struggle running the football effectively every season, and Barkley surely would help in that area.
It happens at almost every combine but this year Jones was the unlucky recipient of an injury.
Barkley seems like a lock to be a superstar as long as he stays healthy.
Chubb could take care of the latter two. Smith said he likes the inside spot because he can take control of the defense and that he has to make a lot of plays when it comes to the pass and the run.
For a franchise that has been struck with bad luck, bad decisions, bad management and bad ownership, the Browns have an opportunity to resurrect the franchise from the dead if they take Barkley. Running backs do not have a large window in terms of playing at a high level in the NFL. Where he wins is at the point of attack and in the red zone. He won't run faster than a 4.50, most likely, so his downfield abilities are limited. These were running backs drafted in the last three years.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish offensive lineman Quenton Nelson. Let's talk about three of them this morning.
"I've been fat my whole life", Brown said earlier this week. They do have a lot of young talent.
GREAT GRIFFIN: Shaquem Griffin did 20 reps on the bench press with a prosthetic left hand in what was by far the best feel-good story of the combine.
I did confirm with Gesicki following the interview that he has met with the Texans here in Indianapolis.
