Super Bowl LII: Rob Gronkowski cleared and ready for action

Doug Pederson is one win away from becoming an unlikely Philadelphia legend

The New England Patriots may have Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, but even the combo of an all-time great head coach and all-time great quarterback has proven to not be invincible in the Super Bowl.

Just don't ask him about retirement.

"If you make a big kick you can't go out there and not focus on the next one or, if you miss a kick, you can't go out there and get down in the dumps and let your team down twice in a row. I don't know. The whole team has it, though", linebacker Mychal Kendricks said. I didn't want to just jump into it right away.

But there are some who believe the Eagles could surprise the Patriots, who have shown that they are not infallible despite winning five Super Bowls over the course of Brady's career.

"You have to waste time", said Philadelphia receiver Torrey Smith, who played in the 2013 game with Baltimore. "I think it's interesting to go in another sport". Though Philly might not be the favorite to win Super Bowl 52, they've proven that you can never really count them out until the game's over. Come Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will look to hand Belichick and Brady their third Super Bowl loss. "(We) made a decision to offer this to ... customers when (we) received an inbound request to sell premium Super Bowl tickets for Bitcoin as opposed to traditional currency.

"Arguably, he's the best quarterback to ever play the game", Eagles defensive end Vinny Curry said.

Given that is still three days until the game, there is time to get well. He was Brett Favre's backup in Green Bay the year the Packers beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. Brady and Hoody will be in their usual F you mode, and with Gronk back, and everyone loving the Eagles, I am going with the Patriots -4. You know, like Tom Brady. What they're saying is you have to pressure the quarterback, and I think that's probably the No. 1 thing in the passing game.

Said center Jason Kelce: "We're going to get used to how we're going to handle the [extended halftime] situation and how we're going to try and stay loose and not tighten up by sitting in a chair for 30 minutes". Teams are able to see what worked well in the first half, what didn't and even hold back some plays that can be utilized in the second half just to keep the opponent off-guard. "It's about us, it's not about them". Sometimes you need an outsider's perspective and this is clearly something Gase will get from his new group of hires. "He's got a spirit about him that's really unmatched, that no one can really duplicate". He says whether a business is offering Super Bowl specials or banning products, it all amounts to basically the same thing. They make big plays, not only thanks to Brady's arm but on a defense that only recently began getting the praise it warrants.
