Google unveils new home speakers and Pixel 2

The Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL take clues from the last year's Pixel smartphones in terms of design. Google will be adding capabilities in the future, including the use of Google Lens in the Google Assistant. Google's Pixel Buds are available for preorder today for $159. Through the smartphone's camera application, users can more clearly identify text and images and execute actions.

Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are retailing at $649 and $849, Rs 61,000 and Rs 73,000 for India.

The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL come with 5-inch and 6-inch displays, respectively. All you have to do is touch and hold the right headphone and it'll activate Translate on your Pixel or Pixel 2 smartphone (and yes, it only works for Pixel phones). It ships in December.

The Google Home Mini is the mini version of the Google Home that is already on the market. It comes in three attractive colors and connects with any Chromecast enabled speaker wirelessly. It's available on October 19, but you can preorder it starting Wednesday.

Google, at its core, is a software company, so it's no surprise the Pixelbook comes with Google Assistant built-in.

Both phones might come with "squeeze" interaction, USB-C charger and stereo speakers. According to Google, the rear as well as the front camera can click pictures with Bokeh effect, with the help of Machine Learning and their advanced camera.

The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch OLED display which has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Similarly, much like the AirPods, you can also ask the Google Pixel Buds to play a track.

SAN FRANCISCO-To accompany the new Pixel smartphones announced Wednesday, Google debuted new wireless earbuds, dubbed "Pixel Buds". Most notably, they can handle real-time translation in 40 languages. Pixel Buds will begin shipping in November.

Google also presented a hands-free camera called Google Clips that will automatically take photos and video for people looking to catch candid moments. It's powered by an AI engine that makes the camera smarter with time.

Google Lens has an accuracy rate of 95%.

Google Home Mini has been designed for use in individual rooms.

Today, Google Store seems to be expanding to even more countries around the world, as can be seen from the screenshot of its country picker.
