Quarterback Job is Jake Fromm's to Lose — Georgia Bulldogs

So the old adage of saving it for the game doesn't work because in my history the ones you save for the game don't usually play well in the game.
Play a game in the north.
Eason, who was hurt in the season opener against Appalachian State, won't play this weekend at Notre Dame, but his knee issue isn't season-ending. They're also 15-6 in their last 21 games overall and 9-2 in their last 11 games after an ATS win for going UNDER the match total.
Additionally, the Bulldogs return 10 of their starters from last season on the defensive side of the ball, giving them a lot of experience up front. "Four hundred and some yards is no small feat, but we had a lot of mistakes that we need to clean up, and if we don't clean them up it's going to be a longer Saturday against Georgia".
"My heart was beating out of my chest, but after I got that first hit, everything just settled in, and it was easy from there". "(Fromm) will do a great job for them". Both are Associated Press second-team preseason All-Americans and possible first-round National Football League draft picks. "They'll have a great year, so hopefully we will too as we move on". The playbook will be shortened with Fromm at the helm instead of Eason.
"I think these kinds of games in college football are really cool because you get to go play somebody that you don't normally play", Georgia coach Kirby Smart said.
Fromm might be new to the first team at Georgia, but he isn't new to the spotlight. Javon Wims paced Georgia with three catches for 81 yards including a 34 yard scoring reception. He later threw his first career touchdown pass. Rodrigo Blankenship kicked the extra point for a 7-0 lead.
"Fromm executed a lot better when he got in", Satterfield said, via The Appalachian, ASU's student newspaper.
A 44-yard run by Michel helped set up the touchdown. He finished the game with 161 yards on 19 carries.
The impact of Reed's forced fumble became magnified when the Mountaineers did not pass Georgia's 40 until intercepting backup quarterback Brice Ramsey at the Bulldogs' 21 with 6:38 remaining in a 31-0 game. So linebacker Davin Bellamy was a little taken aback when the true freshman began chirping at the defense to hurry up so the group could get through the entire script of plays. Fromm did a very good job running the offense, which flowed quicker and smoother than it had while Eason was in the game. The extent of Eason's injury has not yet been disclosed by Georgia.
"Sometimes it just takes a game or two to get that feel back, and for him to have a better grasp and understanding of where to get those tough yards and where just to preserve your body".
Ledbetter then continued on with a stronger sense of confidence, removing doubt of whether the Fighting Irish's front will be exploited. Chubb has drawn praise in particular, as he is the fifth amongst active FBS running backs in rushing yards.
