Assassin's Creed Origins Finally Gets Announced, Out 27th October

Walking among ancient Egyptians obviously isn't possible, but playing "Assassin's Creed Origins" probably is the closest you'll ever get.

Of course, things may change from now until launch, but this already looks more extensive than every other Assassin's Creed before it. It is being developed by the Ubisoft Montreal team that worked on Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag along with Ubisofts Singapore, Sofia, Chengdu, Shanghai, Bucharest, Kiev, and the external Sperasoft studio.

Assassin's Creed Origins is a brand-new vision for the franchise embracing Action-RPG elements where players level up, loot and choose their abilities to customize their very own skilled Assassin.

Assassin's Creed Origins will come in a regular, Gold, and Deluxe Edition with pre-orders of all three gaining access to an exclusive mission called, Secrets of the first Pyramids. Are you excited to return to the Brotherhood, or is this one best left in its sarcophagus?

Check out the premiere gameplay trailer below. Now, after skipping 2016, Origins is hoping to ramp up excitement for the series again.

These most recent leaks confirm the protagonist as Bayek, who begins the game as a Madjay, a member of this civilization's police force.

Shortly following the world premiere of the game, listings of the game went live. The game takes place during the reign of Cleopatra around 49 BCE.

As previously leaked, the game has a Skyrim-style compass at the top of the screen rather than a mini-map.

The trailer starts off with a narrator saying, "We are the first". As always, let us know in the comments and on social media!
