"I'm going to worry about him", nodding in the direction of Dos Santos sitting only a few yards away. It just sort of felt that way.

Miocic and dos Santos are seeking to join exclusive heavyweight company. They will face off in the main event of UFC 211.

Two weeks after Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko conjured a memorable night that added to the rich history of boxing's heavyweight division, mixed martial arts is set to showcase its heavyweight best.

Dos Santos' resistance quickly faded and the referee stepped in to hand Miocic a second successful title defence. Miocic avenged a loss to Dos Santos in December 2014 in Phoenix, which was a five-round bout that left both fighters bloodied.

Dos Santos joined The Roman Show with Rodolfo Roman, and he said that he's been frustrated recently.

Is that the most inspiring way to earn a title shot?

Junior dos Santos won their first match a while back, but this second one was all Miocic. She has six wins in UFC title fights, tied with Ronda Rousey for the most UFC title fight wins by a female fighter. I've fought in Houston.

Here's the thing. Junior says he plans on disposing of Stipe in a very violent way - a ferocious K.O. early in the fight. Respect for everyone you encounter. "You have to think about it before". "That I can be the champ, and be the champ for a long time". Most importantly, he's also achieved a remarkable amount of consistency. "Unfortunately, he beat me last time, which kills me inside ..." "That man right there has some heart, I broke his arm in the first round and I heard it pop over and over again", Knight said. "Whatever his strategy is, I will win", via MMAFighting.

Miocic, the No. 1-ranked heavyweight according to ESPN, is 16-2 overall, including 10-2 in UFC.

That's certainly been true this week, as he has deflected question after question about whether winning Saturday means he should be considered the greatest heavyweight of all time. "Said I was pale as a vampire and I am Daywalker because I am a pale vampire that can walk in the daylight".

Winning Saturday would not only further solidify Miocic's credentials, it would also bring a level of continuity at the top of a division that has seen champions come and go with alarming regularity since Lesnar lost the title to Velasquez in 2010. "It's not going to go five rounds and I'm not gonna be the one going down".
