Toronto Raptors vs Milwaukee Bucks Live Streaming: In the last three matches, the Toronto Raptors had their second match win. This first round matchup was back-and-forth as the Raptors would barely pull through and win the series in seven games. They can not relax, however. The two teams will meet again Saturday in Game 4, with the Bucks in position to send the series back to Toronto with a commanding lead.
Giannis finished with 19-8-4 and two assists and two blocks, but he could have easily had another 19 if his team had needed them.
Toronto will have to shoot better.
It also got another shooter into the game for the Raptors and Powell, who pulled a similar series-changing appearance in Game 5 against in, delivered with 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting and a huge charge he drew on a driving Maker late in the game when the Bucks still had designs on a comeback. Try to find the best shot possible. The Raptors just don't have any defenders capable of challenging his length.
Milwaukee set the tone early jumping out to a 9-2 lead.
The rest of the team has been spectacular as well. Khris Middleton dominated the defensive end with team-high 11 rebounds accompanied with 10 points. We've got to hit first. He almost put up a triple double, adding on nine rebounds and eight assists in one of the best games of his career.
On the other hand, the Bucks offense looked completely uninspired.
In the first two games played in Toronto, Antetokounmpo averaged 21.0 shot attempts.
"Both play dead at home and get killed on the road", was the answer. He drew a huge charge on a driving Maker late in the game when the Bucks still had designs on a comeback.
His 3 with 3:14 left got the Bucks within seven.
The Bucks score 103.2 (101.1 away) and allow 103.1 (103.6 away) points per game.
Here's the frustrating thing about Toronto: it didn't feel like a turning point. But the Raptors should also be better, not barely getting by to get a split, when the Bucks continued to hang around until the final three minutes of a game they shot 37 percent in.
A seven game series is reduced to three with two of the games on your home court. They had an atrocious 16 in Game 4.
What about the Raptors? If they do the same on Monday, it's possible they'll have the same results.
"We won Game 1 there, we had a great chance to win Game 2 there". The Bucks on the other hand had a ideal opportunity to go up 3-1 heading into Game 5.
That said, there are a couple of things they can do. Shortly after that, in Game 2, they improved to 2-0 in the series as they handed Milwaukee a 100-106 loss on April 18.
The Raptors are officially down in the series 2-1, what's your confidence level in the Raptors?
He had success in the post in Game 2.
The Raptors' defense was just as responsible for this one, playing terrific with a smaller lineup that saw Jonas Valanciunas in a much reduced role. It's up to the coach, though, to implement that and for the players to follow through. Powell made the team's only 3-ball of the half, and acquitted himself well on D. DeMarre Carroll has given the Raptors next to nothing this series. Unfortunately, he couldn't make a shot either. He also can't slow down Antetokounmpo or Middleton.
Milwaukee wasn't much better - 15th in scoring average (94.3) and 13th in shooting percentage (43.7). "He's going to get his points regardless".
The Raptors juggled their starters, though not in the way I had hoped.
Third, the Bucks have been relying on their young guys, so why not the Raptors?
Griffin was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs after injuring his big toe during Friday night's win against the Jazz. "That's the mentality we've got to have". "Thon and Malcolm being two rookies, believe they can do the job, and they've show that all season". If we don't have it, just come out and be patient, move the ball.
Competing in an National Basketball Association playoff series is like running a mini-marathon. There's no excuse for it.
"Everybody is going to complain about somebody who plays hard, which is unfortunate because as a player, a coach and as a team-mate that's what you want", Kidd, in his rave review of Dellavedova, told reporters.
The Bucks haven't been in this situation before. "He could see that guys weren't making shots, so he thought he could do it". A let-down is probably forthcoming.
