"It has always been ironic that this abortion giant uses the word "parenthood" in its name, despite offering virtually no prenatal care". Taken together, these two actions would devastate access to health care generally, and reproductive health care in particular.

Susan Yolen, vice president of public policy and advocacy for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, said the agency's services end up saving money in the long run, and that increased access to contraception made available through the Affordable Care Act had led to a decline in the teen birth rate and a reduction in abortions in CT. The critics claimed the clinics use taxpayer money to provide abortion services - because the other healthcare services the organization provides to people don't really matter, do they?

In a February 2016 debate, the billionaire tycoon came under fire from also-ran candidate Marco Rubio for "defending Planned Parenthood", prompting him to respond: "Millions and millions of women - cervical cancer, breast cancer - are helped by Planned Parenthood". Planned Parenthood receives almost half a billion dollars from the federal government annually.

"We are no stranger to litigation and we will absolutely pursue all ways to protect women's access to heath care", the national president said. This is more than any other contentious issue, like divorce, premarital sex, or abortion, a 2016 survey showed. Planned Parenthood is better known for providing more than 300,000 abortions nationwide every year.

Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) in 2015 to try to strip a provision defunding Planned Parenthood from the Senate's ObamaCare repeal bill. "Providing critical health care services for millions of American women is non-negotiable".

"Planned Parenthood does not save lives". For patients in York, there's a center less than a mile from Planned Parenthood - but it's busy. "We won't win this fight in a day-but if we're going to win, it has to start right here".

"I have had the benefit of having wonderful mentors and coaches throughout my career and I hope I can pass that on to others", she said.
