Chelsea stretch lead with victory over Swansea

Chelsea overcame an in-form Swansea City side 3-1 at Stamford Bridge despite being pegged back just before half-time.

In their first season together the pair guided the Blues to their first ever Premier League and FA Cup double and Clement unsurprisingly has fond memories of the time.

"Not easy because, to keep the concentration for the whole championship is not easy".

Conte will recall a number of senior players who missed the trip to Wolves, including defenders David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Marcos Alonso. Fabregas played a short pass for the fellow Spaniard in the middle, where the winger didn't have to think twice before taking a great curled effort on goal which was unluckily slipped into the net by Fabianski due to the wet conditions. I'm lucky to have a lot of players who, in the past, won a lot of trophies.

However, the Italian knows that he needs to do his part to keep the players on their toes.

"Cesc had a really good game", Conte said during his post-match press conference.

Goals from Cesc Fabregas, Pedro, and Diego Costa gave Chelsea a deserved win over Swansea.

Chelsea have 63 points from 26 games - three more than at the same stage in 2014-15 when last crowned champions of England. "He is playing very well with the ball and without the ball".

"They are in strong position but they will not think the title race is over just yet, and the teams behind them will not be thinking that, but they deserve to be where they are".

Match of the Day pundit Shearer said: "We've seen in recent weeks with Swansea that they made it very hard for Liverpool at Anfield. Indeed, survival in the Premier League was our first and only target at the start of the campaign", Leicester vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said.

"For me, I consider Nemanja a top player, and also Kante, but also Fabregas". After some neat passes, Eden Hazard plays in Pedro behind the Swansea defence and his pull back is dug out from under himself by Fabregas before he prods home.

"This is the right way to continue".

"But then clearly when it's 1-1 and you've got a big penalty shout and the game goes on to be 3-1 against you, you're going to feel very disappointed".
