"He's the GOAT. You know, me and my opinion I feel like Peyton Manning is my personal favorite quarterback", Miller added. A star-studded event where National Football League players get a chance to get dressed up and hope to take home the season's biggest awards. I want to thank all of my teammates. But Prescott had a great season too, filling in for injured Tony Romo and leading the Cowboys to an NFC East championship.

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback set a franchise record with 4,944 passing yards and led his franchise to only its second Super Bowl. Among the biggest awards handed out each year at the show is the NFL MVP Award.

"Matt is having an incredible year".

At least that's what 25 of the 50 voters said, earning him the 2016 coach of the year on Saturday night in Houston.

"I think those are things we're going to continue to talk about in the offseason", Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said.

You can start with my own dumb take on Ryan based on all the games I had watched when he was still playing at Boston College.

Many thought that Ryan was on the downslope of his career heading into this season, with some openly talking about trading him or even, hilariously, starting Matt Schaub at quarterback.

FITZGERALD NOT DONE: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, 33, told the Arizona Republic he plans to return next season, the last one on his current contract.

Brady, who is chasing a record fifth Super Bowl on Sunday, finished the season with 3,554 yards, 28 touchdowns and only two interceptions but played four games fewer because of his "Deflategate" suspension. As he evolved into the lead MVP candidate, Ryan maintained a team-oriented approach whenever he discussed the possibility of achieving the league's highest individual honor. Ryan also beat out Brady in completion percentage (69.9 to 67.4) and yards per game (309 to 296).

Ryan, on the other hand, has had a complete year. A bitter contract dispute and a hamstring injury resulted in the Ohio State product missing all of training camp and the preseason, as well as the first four games of the regular season. He entered the season intent on cutting down turnovers after 21 miscues in 2015 (16 interceptions, five lost fumbles).
